A DRESDEN STYLE GILTWOOD AND PORCELAIN MIRRORED WALL SHELF, GERMANY, MID-LATE 19TH CENTURY, the three tiered gilt painted shelf with two “C” form cut outs for large figurine display, joined by twisted flower garland adorned columns, topped by flowering bouquet and flowering urn finials, and two columns issuing suspended cherubs in flight, backed by two wide beveled rectangular mirrors. Some losses throughout, dust within crevices, some apparent repairs and inpainting, gilt on wood likely added later, some gilt splash on porcelain, but overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
